"Dead gods, hmmm? I didn't think there were shoes big enough to fit an
artist of this kind. Does producing a less than par album (which I still
have yet to judge) make them "dead gods"? Is their a single musician alive
who's every release has been the most perfect work? Even the best of the
best turn out some poop albums, yet they can still be great. And I'm
talking about all genres of music. But I still refuse to believe any of it
until own Confield it and listen to it many times. It took me a year to
understand what LP5 was all about, so I'm anticipating the same effort and
patience for this one.

dude, look at it chronologically. Incunabula, amber, the SHIT!!! move on to new sounds, tri-rep very nice, but a lil less than the previous. Then they brought their shit together again w/the last 3 tracks on chilisuite, which was amazing, but then lost it all again, ep7 was decent, and confield blows. autechre is too focused on making sounds NO OTHER person could ever synthesize, but their beats are too repetitive and annoying.....they're on the fall........so is plaid, whose double figures album is worse than the previous, and obviously can't compare to not for threes. I JUsT HOPE tom doesn't follow this damn warp trend.
